Our 2009 Riesling release is again from an ideal block in Bendigo, Central Otago. An elevated slope with excellent sun exposure and soils of high schist content resulted in lively fruit with gentle ripe acidity. The grapes were hand picked at 22.8 Brix, whole bunch pressed, settled for 48hrs and then fermented at cool temperatures to retain the fresh fruit characteristics.

Flavour Profile
A bouquet of lemongrass and jasmine leads to a classic varietal palate dominated with lemon and lime notes. This is a vibrant wine showing good minerality. Fresh clean acid balances the considerable weight and gives the wine poise and tension.
